It's not Stoner would be the problem at PI race. It's the Honda that still got a problem to compete at the top end. Stoner on Ducati had never had a problem with bumps like at Motegi before. But Honda, despite an easy bike to ride, it's a very sensitive bike and very hard to get smooth on a track like PI.

Except Pedrosa, probably due to his light weight, he able to ride the RC212V smooth enough. But not always at winning pace smoothness. So, basically, Lorenzo already had one of his leg on the top of the stair due to to his smoothness.

PI really a big test for Stoner's crews to prepare the bike flying on the edge like the old Ducati GP10 with a less tear on the engine or made the 21L fuel last the race with blazing pace. This is the place where Stoner with the Honda had a Desmodromic valve.

Not to forget some ex-WSBK riders were lurking for podium here such as CEII, Spies and Crutchlow. Also Hayden don't want to miss a chance to get podium for Ducati after so close to earn it last year.

You know the best thing to come out of this?

This is the beginning of the end for Pedrosa...and about time too.

Honda needs to have another alien on that Honda. The spectakle is fast dissapearing. Lets all hope Simo can do it next year when he regains full Honda backing again.

Interesting comment by the Honda man Doohan wouldnt you say @Fan?
I think its the same thing with Rossi hes had a few crashes with it and has realised that riding in that position is only going to lead to more crashes so lets try and fix the bike. Which is easier said than done to get it back into a race-winning position.

Stoner will win the race on Sunday if he crosses the line before everyone else.If he does not, then someone else will win and Stoner will not. That person will then be the winner and Stoner will not win the title this race.I think i got that right!

It is a Stoner post and the Pedrosa Haters still find a way to spew their hate.
This is the beginning of the end for Pedrosa. and about time too. What an ignorant statement. Pedrosa is one of only 3 so called Aliens
He is one of the top 3 top riders in the world.
Like it or not he will be on a Honda for 2012 and do not bet against him.
So what about Stoner? Congratulations! We now know just how talented his is. Watching Rossi Hayden Melandri all struggle on a bike Stoner won the championship on.
Ducati should ask Rossi a simple question. Vale if you are the worlds greatest rider why cant you ride this bike as well as Stoner did?
It is a legitimate question,
Congratulations Casey.
