If Marc saw the checkered flag then there's no excuses. You cannot push after seeing it. I guess the punishment is the right one, it's not my job to judge those decisions since i don't know all those rules. In any case thre's nothing lost for Marc. He still has two sessions to set up the bike and with the wind and rain so near anything can happen.

The most important thing is both riders are ok.

The 1 minute penalty is a joke considering the rules he broke about riding dangerously. In my opinion he should have been barred from the race. This is not the first incident.

Checkered flag = cool down lap.
Many riders even stop to practice their starts on the cooldown lap!

wow, a lot of sour grapes from a sectin of the brit front - no wonder considering their recent (30 year9 gp record.

dumb move, yes, but when was the last time someone gets a minute? is this the way to beat this guy, after a comeback like the one he made? ian wheeler and scott redding need to get a f life , stop moaning, and gorw some balls. their failure is not marc's fault.

Idiot MM, he should be disqualified.
He didnt see Wilairot in front? he must be blind

Idiot team, how can you have the reason to against the decision?
Please say SORRY to wilairot and his team, and compensate all the charges

Don't be a tool man. There are rules, SPECIALLY ONES LIKE THE CHEQUERED FLAG RULE, that are there for the safety of the riders.
What happened to Willairot is the perfect example of why those rules should be followed. The stewards have to make an example of Marc for this. There was no excuse for riding like he was.

At the end of the day he could paralise, or worse, kill another rider.

So please, grow up.
