Simoncelli is now showing a "tamer" style and very much aware of what he can do. He seems ready now to get another podium and maybe add some excitement to the Stoner/Lorenzo/Pedrosa battle.

You dont get points for finishing 3rd in free practice.
He needs to translate his practice position into a podium position come sunday.I wont hold my breath though.

its a start tho mick, it proves he's got the speed to match casey and gang, if he can get a good start for once he might just do better then 3rd one day.

He can't keep the pace the whole race because of the stupid fuel limits, it's all about his engine mapping and I imagine he gives up a bit here or there to finish with enough fuel.

Huh, guess we can plan to see Sic take somebody out at turn 10 come Sunday. I sure hope not but overall, Marco has 'somewhat' matured this season so lets hope for the best...
