That's the first time I've seen Casey sip Champagne on the podium. I s'pose he's earned it hehe!

But seriously, has anyone seen Stoner swig the stuff up there? Can't remember if he did after wrapping it up in '07

Well, if Rossi isnt up to motogp standard then it would only be a 2 man field of Stoner and Lorenzo.

Rossi is at the very least the 3rd best rider out there.

Interesting Stats for you especially @ RAWDOG, i know you love them.

At 26 today Casey has lined up on a Premier Class grid exactly 98 times. He has won 32 of these with a win ration of 32.66%. He has two world Champion ships.

Mick Doohan by the same age had won only 3 races, however by the time Mick had completed race number 98 in the Premier Class he too had won 32 of these @ 32.66%! Weird isn't it?

No wonder Mick made the statement earlier that Casey can and will easily eclipse his records. Simple mathematics say at the same age Casey is 2 world championships ahead and 29 race wins.
OMG bring on the next few seasons

Sir Rossi had a further 2 Premier Class titles at 26 years of age and a win ratio of 46%. He too was Jesus in his prime & i love and respect the great one also.

Here is what i predicted this year so far...Jorge will not win the laguna race! He will not win the assen race though i must admit Spies totally crossed me on that!
And for the future...
Stoner will not win the 2012 title. Yamaha will definatey never win inthe near future, it is back to mid-pack bike. The yamaha has become a very unstable, despite being a relative "easy bike".
If pedrosa does not leave Honda he will end up like Heyden...just someone riding for honda.Simoncelli, well Stoner you must start looking at that guy with a different look! He could be your worst nightmare next year!
Ducati, if they have not taken out a different bike with A DIFFERENT ENGINE DESIGN will not win another race for the second year to come! The bikes on the grid are for racing...well all but the ducatis, which are show room bikes!!! Cut the crap with CF and L(90 degrees) engine. Hey, change for the better, not the other way round! When will the Italians learn? I wonder....

@rudy

So who do you think will win the 2012 title if Stoner isn't going to? You've written off Lorenzo and Spies because they're on Yamaha. Pedrosa is just an also ran as far as you are concerned. Don't tell me you honestly think Sic will win next year? Seriously!!!

Then who....
I will that part for later...after the last test in Jerez i will tell you.
This year it was about 3 riders until one got injured...dani..then it bacame a jlo-kangaroo race.
Please do not misunderstand me, Casey could easily have won the championship 2008, but he did not, why?Coz Someone else got more hungry and more determined...o.k.?
Now, Dani, how many chances does he want? Simo may be what Jlo was to Rossi in 2008-2009,understand me?
But as far as winning next year, It will not be Stoner.
Yamahas are struggling and will do that next year!
We can meet next year, God willing and discuss this over a pint o guiness...what d'ya say?
