MotoGP » Moto2: Bradl, Marquez title showdown heats up at Sepang

"Marquez is a great rider with a bright future ahead of him. On the other hand I fought hard to win and pulled four points back which puts me into the lead of the world championship with only two races to go" – Stefan Bradl.

Marc Marquez is no doubt a brilliant rider, but it is his attitude that will be his downfall! On numerous occasions, Marquez has shown seriously bad behaviour either during practice, qualifying or in a race itself! The last situation that saw Marquez crashing into the back of Ratapak Williarot was totally unbelievable! The pathetic penalty of starting at the back of the grid was not hard enough to give Marquez the kick up the bum he deserves, so I can't see him changing much in the near future. As for Stefan Bradl,he deserves to win this champonship, so just needs to concentrate and not let Marquez take the title away from him. The last few races are going to be well worth watching!

Good post by MclarenP.

Bradl is a brilliant rider of that there is no doubt, but i think now even he is starting to realise just how good marquez is. Bradls statement saying he thought marquez would perhaps get 9th or 5th and then realising that hes sharing the rostrum with the spaniard must of been a shock.
Unfortunantly only one rider can win the championship.
I think they both deserve it.

Marquez is on another level and will wrap up this championship. Bradl has done well to be where he is but Marquez is a superior rider.
Like Simoncelli & Rossi who have both put other riders in the gravel for a position or win Marquez is a true hard racer.

The kind that wins championships.

Marquez is no better than any other top rider in Moto2, but where he is superior is in the amount of money he has behind him. I prefer to call him Repsol Marquez! He is not perfect and the mistakes he is making show he is not perfect. Put Repsol Marquez on equal machinery and he would not have had his amazing run of results this year. Bradl is doing a great job with limited resources and he desrves the WC more than Repsol Marquez.

I am sure I either read or heard somewhere that Marquez has had much more practice/testing on the Honda than other Moto2 riders so that a lot of minor problems could be sorted and dealt with. This has obviously given him a head start and isn't fair on the rest of them.
Someone help me here in case I have just dreamt it!!

Jeez there are some people on here who seem totally incapable of giving riders any credit sometimes, normally Rossi fans I must say.

Anyway, Marc has come back from 80+ points behind and no matter how much testing, blah, blah can take away from the fact that Marc has done an AMAZING job to get to where he is and his ride last time out from last to 3rd was simply stunning.

Either way, win or lose Marc has nothing to prove and as in 125's last year, he will ultimately prove that it is his riding that does the talking.

Good luck to both of them and may the best man win....and I hope it is Marc.

Yes @McLarenP - Marquez did so much more testing than anyone else on the grid and had such a vast budget this year that the organisers announced a change of rules half way through the season which comes into effect next year.
