I don't have a problem with how good a rider Marquez is, but there is no excuse for arrogance in any way, shape or form! Marquez never acknowledges the cameras, never smiles, waves or even looks very happy! Not good from someone so young!!

Did I miss something? Has Marquez eaten someones baby or something? The amount of hate spewed out because he has made a couple of mistakes and happens to have the best equipment is beyond belief. Spoiled brat, never smiles, doesn't acknowledge the camera??? Complete fabrication McLarenP, why the huge chip?

I was thinking race fans would enjoy to see him ride and what he is achieving at 18 y.o. in his rookie Moto2 year... I must be wrong, seems there is more to hate than to like.

@fastfisheye and others that think there is alot of hate

Why? Go back and read all the comments, on this thread and all others. I see more messages from more posters that are positive than I see hate. I think that most posters dont hate Marquez, including me.

Marquez is young and thats not his fault, Marquez is immature and thats not his fault either, Marquez has had much more support and better equipment than any other rider and thats not his fault either, but he has a choice and he chose to take advantage of this, that IS his decision.

Oh and he may not have eatin a child but through his actions he almost killed someones child. Again I wish him all the best in his career and can not wait to see him in MotoGP.

@McLarenP

''Marquez never acknowledges the cameras, never smiles, waves or even looks very happy! Not good from someone so young!!''

Is Marc supermodel or rider? Kimi Raikkonen never smiles or looks happy, but you would never say anything bad about him, wouldn't you?

Anyway Bradl is very talented and good rider, but he wasn't able to win for 4 months now and at times he even had problems to finish on the podium, so I think Marquez is better and he deserved the title.

Of course we don't have to support or even like the same riders. In any motorsport somebody has to have the best machinery, or team or technical support and striving to achieve that is a major part of it. Does the sportsman in that position become your least favoured? Strange way to chose who you support.

As to all the comments re Spanish riders enjoying favouritism or only being there due to Dorna favours, well it smacks of xenofobia and some of the harder line opinions/comments are bordering on racist. Don't ask me to quote examples 'cos you have all read them.

The reason there are so many Spanish riders in the WC is that they have grown the sport from grass roots level, pump money in by buying the sponsors products and go through the turnstiles in the 100,000's And of course talent. I guess it must hurt to always hear someone else's anthem and never your own on your home soil.

People have a problem cause like every other Spanish rider he gets it handed to him on a silver platter i see him being Pedrosa mk2 thrashing people on the best equipment in the junior classes then get his ass handed to him when he plays with the big boys trust me this kids attitude wont cut it he will be a flop

I've been to ten rounds this year and several last year and have spent quite a bit of time in the paddocks. Most of you don't know what the hell you're talking about concerning MM.
