I was with a friend when this kind of thing happend to him, me watching as I followed close behind. My friend died. There was no one else around. My heart is still sick with that moment. And I feel it now

As the race circuit medical team need to concentrate on Marco, it is unsafe for the race to continue. Hope Marco is okay, but looked like a bad accident.

The reason for the cancellation has come through, and it's the worst possible news: Marco Simoncelli's injuries are apparenrtly critical despite him regaining consciousness, and organisers will not run the race while his life hangs in the balance.
