All the the things that seemed important for tomorrow don't seem to be so important now.

Simoncelli forever the the racer.

Marco you were a rising star with a gutsy fearless riding style while also maintaining a captivating and fascinating personality. Both will be missed greatly and Moto GP is all the less with your loss. Rest in peace Super Sic you will be greatly missed.

Seeing Colin Edwards staring helplessly at Simo's body from the grass, and Rossi and Capi trying to reassure/comfort each other in the pits have to be two of the saddest yet most touching things I have ever seen.

A terrible, tragic loss. Really a waste of a talent. RIP Marco, age 24, really so young :-((

Marco looked to be the best hope for an exciting rider to follow Rossi's gripping past effect on MotoGP's audience figures and heightened respect in the whole motor racing world - someone most of the population had heard of.

What a sad prospect before us as this rising star was shot from the sky by this tragic accident.

Respect to all motor racers, especially MotoGP.

Yeah I couldn't quite understand why Edwards simply slumped down in the weeds until it all became obvious both Rossi and Edwards knew that Simo had passed probably at that point. Very hard to find a point in getting up tomorrow, if it is this hard for me I wonder how it must feel for Edwards and particularly Rossi.
