"Sic for me was like a youngest brother. So strong on track and so sweet in the normal life. I will miss him a lot" - Valentino Rossi.

I'm with you, McLarenP. I'm absolutely gutted. It seems unreal. I can't believe that we won't see him again.
Lord only knows what his poor family and friends are going through.
I suspect Valencia will have a pall of misery over it. I don't suppose the riders will be much motivated.
I hope Marco's nearest get strength from the love and admiration he enjoyed from us all.

I guess there will be no more "I wonder if Marco will get up for a win this weekend?". Was so impressed with him when I was in the UK I bought Simoncelli tshirts and bought an issue of mcn sport because there was an interview with him in it. I am sad that I will not get to see the mcn tribute. I was lucky enough to see him throw a leg over a gp bike at silverstone and for that sweet 2nd at the island. Although we were the same age when he died he lived a life accomplishing more than most. He has done what all of us which we could do and he did it with a smile on his face (which is a rarity in the paddock). The guy was hungry and rode with balls and he showed a big guy could ride an 800 (imagine what he would have done on a factory thousand?). R.I.P Marco, It's been an absolute pleasure to watch your antics on and off the track.
