Watching the service and seeing how Marco's father embraced rivals Jorge and Dovi said it all for me. Just a wonderful man with an amazing son!

My heart goes out to his girlfriend Kate most of all. I hadn't realised they had been together for such a long time and you can see a girl who's hopes and dreams have been ripped away. The scenes of her in the box on Sunday were just shattering and when she spoke of going back to their house the other night and trying to talk to him, well it's just so very sad.

Ciao Marco.

his tragic death still strikes me so deep. I have great passion for riding after 42 years and I think that is why I shed a tear when I see his funeral pics. Rossi bringing Super Sic bike heart tears at my heart. You will be so very missed on the grid.
Great racing will continue with #58 in every ones heart.
Thanks for giving us great racing.

Seeing his sister's face at the funeral sent shivers down my spine, it was like seeing a fleeting glimpse of Marco. She looks so much like her brother, bless her
My heart aches to think of what she and her family are going through

I wish this whole week were just a long drawn out bad dream and that i would wake up to rejoice again at seeing marco's reassuring smile. It feels that way. if only it were so...

great show of respect from Lorenzo, given the drama
that has been between him and Sic this season.

never really liked Jlo much, but this season i have gained alot more respect for the guy
