I am actually shocked about how hard this has hit me. I went to see Shoya in Spain last year, and his passing was truly sad but this has completely gutted me. All the best to Sic and his fans and family. Love from Canada

Even if Gresini & Aoyama wanted to race the factory bike they could not.

Marco only raced in the colours of Gresini, He was employed directly by & raced a bike provided by HRC & his pit crew were either provided by or employed by HRC.

The only difference between Marco's bike & the Repsol ones was the colour it was painted in when it left HRC so Fausto Gresini can not let anyone use the bike.

Nice idea though

@Wolfy35

Aoyama could very easily ride Simoncelli's bike if Gresini and HRC wish. If you'll recall, Hiro filled in for an injured Pedrosa earlier this season in the Repsol team.

Good news out of a bad week! Nice Fausto!
If it is true about Paulo asking for one minute of noise then I'm IN! Stuff the neighbours!!

@motogp fan --

"Letting" Hiro win wouldn't honor Marco. It's completely contrary to the spirit of the sport. Race and do your absolute best to honor...never will manipulated results be.
