MotoGP » Moto2: Sight problems end Marquez title hopes?

"If it was the shoulder I could make an effort and run, but without perfect sight we can't take risks. If I couldn't see, even for one moment, I could put me and other riders in danger" – Marc Marquez.

Yes Marc, even when you had a perfect sight - you have put Wilairot in serious danger by hitting him brutally from behind! Good decision then to heal your sight rather than put yourself and others in danger!

With the Australia incident mistakes are going to happen, especially when he is just a kid. The worst part about it though was when he took no responsibilty for the accident. That truly makes him a potential hazard and liability to himself and others.

Give the kid a break, if you cannot make mistakes when you are 18 when are you gonna make them and how are you gonna learn?

As far as i know Marquez apologised to Wilairot so that in my book is taking the blame/ responsibility for the accident.

@fastfisheye - but his team appealed against the decision and from his public statements he didn't think he had done anything wrong.

Those are the things that are sticking in peoples throats at the moment.

Little bit of OT:
Seems that anybody do not remember that Dorna did promote Moto2 saying last year that Moto2 champion should always go up to MotoGP class.
So I think they will help Bradl to climb up... if not, then this new class is not good base to go to premium class.
Remember last few years when all the winning riders in 250cc did get offers from MotoGP teams!

a little comparision...

Bradl = Stoner
Marquez = Pedrosa

i was always a fan of stoner and when he and danny jumped up to the premier class i said casey would be better than danny and everyone thought i was crazy, its not that i think bradl is the next stoner or that much better than marquez but i do think he has more natural talent... with repsol money behind you itss hard to fail and like someone mentioned they had to make a new rule to keep him from out testing everyone and since then he hasnt looked grossly better than the rest of the field.

and im not going to jump on the 2012 MM bandwagon either i dont think he is going to have as easy of a time as some think... there is a lot of talent in moto2 that isnt just going to roll over... especially now that teams with money cant out test everyone else
