“There is so much sadness in our garage today. The atmosphere was surreal without 'Super Sic' there and it has been extremely difficult to tackle the day" – Fausto Gresini.

I have been following 500cc-motogp since 1983, In that time theirs been so many amazing hilights, unfortunetly theirs been some bad ,in malaysia it was the worst so far. the loss of marco will flow on into the future,A young man whose dreams will not be fullfild. welldone gresini team for setting up marcos pitbox. one last time we can cellarbrate the life of marco together world wide.unfortunetly we here in AUSTRALIA only got to see him once a year but the impact he had will be remembered.
CIAO MARCO #58 thanks for the memorys.

I wonder if it's kind of surreal for Aoyama that a factory spec bike is just sitting in the garage without being used by him to truly honor Sic by actually riding it. Just sayin'...

It is more of an honour to Marco that nobody is riding his bike in the race. To me, it shows that Gresini are not bothered about sticking another rider on Marco's bike straight away so are showing that Marco was irreplaceable! It's only for one race, and as it happens, the last one. I think it shows a lot more respect to just leave Marco's bike unridden, standing proud in the garage where the man himself would have been sitting!!
