To top Karel and win the rookie of the year title would be quite the badge of honour!!!

The fact that he's on Spies old ride that was used to beat all the former world champions last year and Karel's on the hopeless Duc is stunning.

I guess either Karel is one of the best riders in the world or Cal is.......

Both are newbies to MOTOGP and both have good qualities. I'm glad Crutchlow has another yr to prove himself one way or the other. I'd like to see what Abraham could do on a bike other than Ducati even if a satallite bike.

Hayes isn't doing that bad at all in my opinion. MOTOGP bikes are quite something else when compared to superbikes. I really hate it when some folk want to DUMB DOWN MOTOGP to Moto2 level or worse. They can take that spec bike racing and shove it in a hole.

i would like to see karel get the job done... because lets be honest, even if cal was farther ahead in the points than karel, we all know who has been the more impressive one.

start of the season i thought cal would stand a chance at some decent results and karel would be running around the back of the grid... but knowing what we know of the ducati and what others have produced on the tech 3... karel has been more impressive, but he did have the advantage of knowing all the tracks

It could actually be an entertaining scrap if they both stay on. The times are quite close. I'd like to see a good battle somewhere in the field anyway, as I doubt we'll get one for the race win.

Karel deserves the win either way as he has been far and away the more impressive rider on far and away the dog bike of the field.

What did it for me was Cal's constant visits to the pits. This is MotoGP, ride it.

They've both crashed too much but Karel is running at an average of over 1 crash per meeting which is way more than anybody else and to me thats not what you'd call impressive, yeah the bike is junk but you got to learn to stay on it all the same.
