It was always going to be a long shot for Zarco but still a shame to see it decided so early. If rain had come earlier it could have been a very different outcome. Glad that Vinales took the victory. He must be odds on favourite for the first ever Moto3 title but while the bikes are still being sorted there could be some surprises and a chance for some other riders to show their talent before the teams who can spend most on development start to dominate.

Maybe the threat of litigation succeeded in reminding Ms Hilton of her contractual publicity obligations as she seemed to be all over the place today.
