Look I'll admit I like watching Stoner's style on the bike and it was good to see a last gasp win yesterday. BUT I don't think it was in any way planned. He would've loved to win by miles and 10+ seconds but was overhesitant in the rain.

I did start to gain a little more respect for him mid season but towards the end lost it again. Why does he have to keep on complaining about not getting proper credit for his last WC? And his dedication and tribute to Simo? Completely absent or underwhelming to say the least from the WC and therefore one of the most important representatives of the sport in the current era given the significance of Simo to the future of the sport. Perhaps he should take some lessons from Lorenzo and Dovi on carrying yourself with dignity and swallowing his pride.

@Dr GP
Your Judgements of another is really a reflection upon you not them Your judging yourself in the reflection of the mirror
Simo Raced ......Stoner Still races lets just enjoy the racing and cut the bagging and the insults to anothers reality
The Passing of Simo was sad It appears that really we are all one big family drawn together by our love of motorcycles as in any family we are all differnt so lets recognise good behaviour and allow another to be who they are with out our petty Judgements!!!
I am looking forwards to 2012 and 1000cc Cheers

Guys - my judgement is a reflection on me? Yes it is. I liked Simo, a lot, and I think he deserved a lot more from the world champion than a tiny little sticker on his mudguard. @Not sure why I bother - I did know it was there. You miss my point over what an underwhelming gesture it is from the world champ. Not slagging him off, just very disappointed. In any sport being world champ is not just about beating everyone else it's about how you represent your sport.

Gee, you just can't please everyone?

Lorenzo tried acting like some elder statesmen of the sport and got panned for being a pretentious git. Being the WC didn't make Lorenzo the boss of the other riders and it didn't seem to help much when he was pushing for improved safety (ie other peoples riding, and Motegi).

But I suppose if some fans believe the current WC should act as a puppet for Dorna to push Dorna's interests onto the other riders and fans, then everyone's entitled to their opinion...
