Happy retirement, but 3 years too late though, shame Loris didnt give another rider a chance before, he havent done much in the last 3 years other than make up the numbers on the grid, always thought Chris Vermeulen was a better rider than Loris at Suzuki.

End of an era. Barros has retired, Roberts Jr has retired, Gibernau has retired, now Capirossi has retired. And next year may be Biaggi's last racing motorcycles.

What a wonderful man, I am just so pleased he has got there at last and mourn the fact that Simo will not.
Thank you Loris you have really thrilled and entertained us over the years, enjoy your retirement!

You were looking like your old self when you were catching Crutchlow and Abraham but unfortunately it didn't come to anything. Only one rider remains in the top class from when i started watching it in 2001 and that is Rossi. Happy retirement Loris you will be sadly missed from the MotoGP grid and thanks for all the great memories for me since 2001 and to everyone else over the last 22 years.

Harada forgot about that within a year of 1998. Here we are, almost 14 years later, and you Capirossi haters still bring that up!

Will you bag Pedrosa taking Hayden out in 2006 in 14 years time?

Will you bag Stoner taking Ginernau out in 2006 (ending Gibernau's career) in 14 years time?

Will you ever possibly look at Capirossi's finer moments in the mid-2000's when he battled with Rossi for wins? No, of course you won't, as that means appreciating someone's talent!

Go Loris, some of us remember the finer moments, not just the odd bad momentwe looked up on Wikedpdia!
