Great job to Hayes. Showed his talent well and repped the AMA sbk championship as well as anyone could have hoped.

Even if he had finished in 7+4th position it still would have been awesome.

Great showing by Josh. That makes twice he has shown the world what a great racer he truly is. I was hoping after his last WSS stint that he would go global, but I suppose at his age the thought of starting something new in racing was a long shot. Glad he had the opportunity, and was impressed he stayed with the factory test rider! So both new to the track, but one new to the bike, tires, and no GP experience what so ever. Bravo Josh, good show! Hoping you get a wild card in the US next season, just because.

Very impressive. Too bad Tech 3 have Dovi signed already, because if I was Herve I would definitely sign Hayes. He kept the bike upright all weekend and was really competitive in his first race on a GP bike.

Josh made us proud here in the USA, and he made the team proud as well as a replacement for injured racer Colin Edwards who is also his friend.

I can't imagine that Josh would object if an offer would come his way to race either GP or WSBK regardless of his age (37), but that choice is not his, but the powers that be.

Of course, the issue may be to find Melissa Paris a race team near to his endeavors, if Mr. Hayes where to race outside the USA.

But then again, who's to say that husband/wife racers can't race on opposite continents and make it a winning combination. There is Moto2 however for Mrs Hayes......
