No big surprise. They have literally taken off from where they left...Honda...Ben Spies (Yamaha) and Vale Rossi (Ducati) are not bad but are still an second off the pace. It is a worry. This tells me that barring misfortune for Stoner, he is 2012 MotoGP WC

@sweeble. has it taken you all year to notice it? its visually the same as the 800 one.

props to de puniet, duk of death slower than a suzuki 800, with a guy who has never ridden it dosnt bode well. although the times could mean anything as its only testing

Why are people reading so much into the times? Ducati have no experience with the frame they are using. It was not available at the earlier tests. So they are starting from scratch whilst Honda and Yamaha at least have some previous data. The Gap to the Ducati is not a worry. I would have expected the Yamaha to be a bit closer.

rossi's lap timings havent improved since 12am...

he must not be concentrating on get perfect timings for now...and logically thats not important for now...

what they need is good feedback so that the right direction can be taken and mprovements can be made till the next test....

post test press release will give some insight
