MotoGP » Rossi: Not bad for a first taste...

"The engine seems to be pretty good already... On the other hand, I'm a little slower in mid-corner, and we also have to try to improve rear grip " – Valentino Rossi.

The problem with most Rossi haters is they don't understand loyalty, they just jump on the bandwagon of whoever is winning at the time at least Rossi fans stick around regardless of a poor season as we have faith in his talent and believe he can come back....

just becuase Loris wasent winning anymore doesnt make him a waste of a paycheck,
he loved racing, thats why he stayed, 300+ starts is pretty dam impressive.
Marco Who, they guy who couldnt cut it in motogp so he went down to SBK.. idiots like you who make this site what it is today. not every rider is going to win, if it was up to you, you wouldnt only have stoner, pedrosa and Jlo racing in the top class.

your post is a waste of bandwidth..

posted by switch off "The trouble with stoner is that he has as much charisma as a goat" He will never have the charisma of The GOAT. That is self-evident and will not change.

Ronny,

Dovi beat Stoner and Dani on the Honda? He rode a new bike for the first time and that makes Rossi and Crutchlow able to beat Stoner if only they had the "right bike"? By that logic if Jorge and Ben had a factory Honda they would dominate everyone, no?

Rossi has rode a new bike practically every week while developing for next year. He is almost always 1.5 seconds back every time he's been on a Ducati. He is looking to be comfortable and the fact may be that making him "comfortable" is no longer possible and this is the pace of an aging, injured champion...

DISCOUNTING Rossi for the next year is a one horrible mistake some fans in hare are doing! To win a championship after a couple of years is one thing, to defend it is a completely different thing. That's what Casey already knows pretty well I think. Yamaha needs to step up and moist up a much bigger effort then they show at the moment to be capable to fight for a championship. I have a big problem with their current management and decisions the factory makes. Perhaps Ducati has a much more realistic chance to fight for the title next year. I keep my fingers crossed for Vale and JLo.

Perfect timing by Ducati to relese the 1199, which is very Japanese styled.
This way nobody will notice Rossis Yam/Duc. I have to admire Ducatis stance, its only taken 12mths for a multiple world champion to canvince them that the carbon frame is ****e. Oh sorry not quite there yet but it kinder works.
Love the tribute to Marco, half the field going down at turn one. Perfect, hed be laughing his head off.
No I dont want anyone hurt. Seeing the Cresini Moto2 bike in the gravel was painful enough.

Stoner won the 07 championship not by his riding skill but by the speed advantage of the Ducati remember the Ducati lane at the fast tracks. Rossi then destroyed Stoner half way through 08 on a track he was 1 second a lap slower it has took stoner until this year to regain the championship on the bike Dovi says is a second a lap faster than the rest of the field.
Next yesr I think Stoner will startstrong then the pressure is start to show after a few races just like 08.
