MotoGP » Rossi: Not bad for a first taste...

"The engine seems to be pretty good already... On the other hand, I'm a little slower in mid-corner, and we also have to try to improve rear grip " – Valentino Rossi.

next year is going to be alot closer racing,

Stoner wont have it so easy, will see what he's like when it comes to having a battle to win, not just riding on his own leading by 11ty billion seconds as he did. when it comes to battles, he comes out 2nd best.

I think Rossi has lost it mentally. No way can a rider decline from WC 2 years ago to be a mid pack also ran. I can just put it to the mental bashing hes had to face. Add the sic factor aswell. Maybe time to see a sports psychologist?

I guess the real question about the twin spar is a function of the time sheets. Where Vale's times better with the 1000 twin spar as his qualifying 800 times. Or, better yet would be, how do the Honda's compare? Might have to look back to last year for dry times, but it would be telling. The 1000 alone should be good for a better lap time, but when you compare the Hondas for example, how do the Ducati times compare?

Either way, we'll see in the next days testing if they can reduce the 1.6 gap to the other new 1000's. Here's looking forward to more close racing for next year, doesn't matter who it is, or what they're on.

"Why do I think only 2 aliens turned up for the fight this year and next year will probably the same."

Easy, you've been trotting the same nonsense out all year mate. Simple as that.
