It might be worth considering that the riders didn't push to hard to avoid injury over their holidays. It's one thing to miss a race or two, but another....

Also, they don't want to get hurt so that they can go out motocrossing/supermotoing and get hurt there!

I hate to tell some of you this... But, testing is about consistant lapping so as to check the changes made to the bike, make sure things are going in the right direction. Stoner tests this way, where others just like to go hell-for-leather, for a few laps and hope that it was the changes made to the bike that helped and not just a better line, or being braver under brakes...

Stoner 'dis-likers' out there, food for thought:- He aint even trying yet!

To validate Pedrosa's time, Lorenzo's time must be present on the chart. Otherwise, it just a false positive result. I think Stoner's time reflecting on how fast he could go on the worst bike setup. The word "chatters" has been long gone since 2007. To have in heard again in this test from Stoner's mouth, I guessing he's been focusing on the worst case scenario for the bike and tyres adaptation.

owwww wow...look at dani boy!!!! ohhh hell yeah!!!! btw... stay on that way DP, i think HRC gave you 1 more year. It's a shame that Casey got the WC on his first year in Honda and you have been there for quite some time. Hope that next year you can bring the money to the bank and be a WC again and give Casey a run for his money. Honda would love to see you fight for a championship. and i Love that they ordered a no ORDER team as slong as there's a Honda rider on top of the podium. Good luck mate!!!

Sounds like the GP12 is going to look very different at the next official tests. Dani, Vale and Spies are all going to be better off on the 1000cc machines. Just all depends on how many times Casey will bin it like he did in the last 1000cc championship. Casey 'Mr Honda, can you make the traction control button a little bigger this year. Thanks mate'.

@ lol

Rossi being 4 or 5 fastest or 6 or 7th if Lorenzo was back ,means nothing, with a gap of over 1,5 secs from top.

Such a huge gap would put him out of a podium or a win from the start, unless the faster drivers have problems.
I heard Valentino in Italian news ( his own audio)saying that the gap from the 2 hondas is scary, but that at least the 1000 is a bit moro docile, but still a nervous bike in certain areas .And he said that now he has, at least time with the engineers ,to try to improve.

He made this comment after today s testing.

Ciao
