For those who think it was a 5hit year, or a boring year etc etc., look to the past when someone like Ago used to win all the time, and by a lap or two, not a couple of seconds.
In a time when there is a good depth of talent, in a time when there a lot of good, evenly matched machines and good engineers and teams, it takes something very special for one rider to stand out as convincingly as we have seen, and win almost at will. Regardless of conditions, practice times, anything that leaves the others at a loss to perform at their best.
Just respect what you've witnessed. It was awesome.

Did I mention that your idol was 158 points behind 1st last year,86 points behind in 2009 and 93 behind in 2008. Credit where it's due though he's the man !

If it wasn't Stoner please reply with a detailed answer explaining your choice. Should be interesting! Just keep in mind that Stoner:

Had the most wins.
Had the most fastest laps.
Had the most poles.
Had the most podiums.
Scored the most points.
Lead the most laps.
Won the championship.
Didn't crash(by his own error)
All the while there were 3 other riders on the same bike.

@@@@@@DON-R

How does anybody know or write so much trivia????
Is it real that important that most posters have to write all this statistics, and whose knowledge does it enrich???.
I looks like a possible DEMENTIA TEST.
I could do that by googleing the net and copy all that.
That is not knowledge.

It is so scary.

Ciao

Most of that injury info comes from the poll's rider summaries, Enrico. It just made me realise how many have been hurt this year.

On topic, and I only scored one rider the perfect 10. If anybody else but Stoner wins the poll then it's not about the racing.
