Pretty ordinary response Ausrossi, you basically say Stoner luckily happened to be riding the best bike in both his WC could argue the Honda had the best bike this year (even though without stoner Yamah would have won and the stats scream a CS domination) but for 2007 explain to me who else on the grid would have won the WC on the Ducati? considering that his team mate with all his experience on the bike couldn't get near him...

We have a go at each other for fun and we accept it when we start to write here.
But i think there should be a Gentlemen agreement not to bring any family members into it, even if it s done in the name of fun.

Nobody can stop anybody but i think this would make the site a better one.

I like the posters opinions.

@samas (1 day ago)

The poll you checked was the half season one - this one is still open. Although I do share your surpirse that Dani won that one.. Good? Yes.. best? No.

If Stoner doesn't win I give the Crash admins permission to tweak it so he does.

@pcxmac here's another one to laugh out loud about.
Machinery in my 2 cents worth adjudication.
Honda : 9.5
Yamaha : 9.5
Ducati : 9.0
Suzuki : 9.0

Good assessment over at Remove Stoner from all the 2011 results and elevate each rider that finished in his dirt this season past by one spot.

Lorenzo #1 hands down. Honda,9 wins to Yamaha's 8.
Spies 2 wins,Simmo 1 etc. Go figure. :)

I guess its reasonably safe to presume that Rossi will not be voted Crash's rider of the year 2011,as he was last year. Might be tight between Casey and George though. My nod by a broad whisker goes Casey's way. New bike, new outfit,HRC,Dani,Puig and blah.
Race of the year : Laguna 2011. Crikey, that must sit hard in someone's throat. Mind you,its not likely Stoner will stick it on an idiotic banner at Assen, ever.
Bottom line 2012. I've collected my bets 2011.
SLS...Stoner/Lorenzo/Spies. I can't find a reason to bet otherwise next year.

Rossifumi,is that the same chicken Stoner that had the nuts to ride the Ducati to 23 victories?
How many times has super hero 46 put it on the top step of the podium?
Whos the chicken now?

Why do most people on here think that it was the "mighty Honda" and not the rider who won the championship. Get all the results from the season and take Stoner out of the equation and see what the results would have been, Yamaha would have done extremely well 8 wins with only 9 to the Honda and the championship to JL, who after missing two races was still 2nd (grt8 result) Rossi no change, poor guy, but still the GOAT IMHO.

But the Stoner (and Aussie bashers) will continue to say "it was the bike" and that is why he won.

Sorry you just have to face facts that Stoner gave the best overall performance of the season, I dont call him a GOAT or even a GOATEE, I just call it as it is, in 2011, no-one came close to his overall performance.

As for those who say "he doesn't put on a show" what the F is that all about, racing is HIS show, the dress ups and clown actions is an after event that only Rossi is the best at and JL looks like a fool doing.

So do the math and let me know your

Nobody can possibly take this title away from Casey he is just the complete pro and the rest of the field really have to step up a class or two to get anywhere near him.
