I can't imagine he's fit enough yet to push the bike very hard, so this is probably just first impressions. When he's back to full health then I'd expect Colin to set the performance benchmark for other CRT teams and riders.

Great news to see the Texas Tornado back on a bike, hopefully he will erase any demons that are lingering from that crash !. Good luck for the 2012 season Colin.

So far Scott Redding led the Moto2 time sheet at 1:42.9 and Colin led the CRT bikes with a top lap of 1:43.9. No times from Ducati's test were posted, yet. Hopefully the CRT bikes can get up to speed soon.

@Gazza1JB

Give them a chance, the bike is nowhere near optimised....although it won't be anywhere near the MotoGP bikes.

Fair plays to Colin for coming back, seeing him look at the track and see Super Sic still sticks in my mind.

Scott Redding...not sure of the conditions earlier in the year but that time would've put him 2nd on the grid! One to watch me thinks. As for Colins time, its about 4 secs off his QP time which has been typical of CRT so far but is still promising, he doesn't know the bike, is nursing an injury and riding an unfinished ride.
