“It's clear that we must use less expensive bikes and if this is the only way I wouldn't have problems riding a CRT”

I don't know why stoner say things that he will end up regretting it. So he won't race if it went all CRT. Thats Bull... Look what he said about Japan and look what happened. Great Rider, Great Champ, Sometime needs to think before talking all nonsense

Seeing as some people are already on the 'Rossi's only saying this as he can't ride the Ducati' wagon, can we please balance this out by noting Stoner only said what he did as without a clearly dominant bike under him, he knows he wouldn't be in with a chance of a championship...

"HA HA he can't ride a Moto GP bike how is he going to ride a CRT ?"

Thank you for showing us what it means to have borderline IQ. Why don't you hop on a MotoGP bike and show us how it's done?

Rossi didn't say he would ride a CRT bike if there still are "normal" factory bikes around, he said he would indeed ride one if ALL the field would run under the CRT rules.

See the difference or need I explain it more for you?

should have stayed with the 990's, I like to see all the manufacturers taking part, the balance was perfect back then, a good variety of manufacturers, close racing and privateer teams leasing engines like Kenny Roberts, I believe CRT is necessary now only as the likes of Suzuki, Kawasaki have been priced out with the constant changes, CRT could be their only way of getting back in.

Looking forward to Stoner hanging up his leathers when the whole grid switches to CRT bikes. What a load of bull!

Maybe he thinks Carmelo will change his mind based on that statement - maybe if Rossi said he'd quit, Carmelo might listen but Stoner doesn't have enough clout to change things. Shape up or or ship out, Moaner...

@ppp

He did not say he would NOT ride CRT, go read his comments...

Doubts he would want to be a part of it, thats a might, might not.

And he's got a point, proddy racing is for Superbikes, SBK would end up be more prototype than motogp would if CRT is the only choice.

And to who said he does not want it because he won't win again, what FACT is that based on?

Casey is great but when he's won another 7 championships, been on the pace in a F1 and WRC and tamed a factory NSR500 I too will bow down. Until then can you just go sit at the back please, your IQ's hurting my ears and your memory's are terrible. If they get CRT right which I'm sure they will the racing will be great IMO. Moto 2 has been the best racing for 2 seasons now so don't right it off just yet. Casey doesn't see a future in CRT's well theirs always sprints and time trials.....TT for example, I'm sure John,Guy and Ian will let him follow them around.
