motogp has become a disgrace.probably the most boring venue in all of bike racing.
and electronics and stupid stuff has turn the bikes into robots lappign around the tracks.
WSBK is way much better.

Everyone talking about the PROTOTYPE bikes in MotoGP...again you can not buy one off the showroom floor,so what makes it so special?Is it because the rider you idolize that rides for a factory team might not win every race,if the field is on level terms?The ones that suffer are the fans that pay good money to watch the best series of professional racing and get CRAP!!!!!!!I'm tired of watching 2 or 3 riders battleing for 4th place.....lets see 6 or 7 fighting for 1st place,and get our moneys worth!!!!So they go from doing 220 to 210 mph...I just want good racing!!!!!!

So electronics then. W/c also does keep a rider safe and very very fast. Isn't that the blood of the sport. TO GO FRAKIN' FAST? Perhaps many were used to Vale/Lorenzo/Stoner close racing way back 09? Then again, 2 of those were on the same best machine of that time. Put them all three on the same machine and you'll get your wish. Sadly not happening since POLITICS will ALWAYS come into play. MONEY!

It's not the bike, it's the rider. After all, manufacturers only fields the bike, it won't go fast unless someone rides it. Then the bike argument follows, then blame the manufacturer instead. Motogp racers always go fast.

How about

Moto GP riders have been taking headlines in other events recently, Rossi 2nd in Monaco Rally, Dovi does well in another, Race of Champions etc etc

Why not have a ROC series? F1, WRC, WSB, Moto GP (1 & 2) all the riders started off carting and or mini bikes.

Its the electronics I dislike it should not be allowed that is what makes it boring, Hona make the rules 4 stroke, 800cc etc

WSB Aka Ducati Cup,

Need to get the bikes more even the only way to do that is cut ALL the electronics,

@Lean two

Moto2 is good, but it doesn't promote bike development. Rossi is known for his "Development" skills. What do you want? We all know Casey is faster. We all know Vale/Lorenzo are the best battler's. We know Dani can smoke each and everyone of them each time Puig humps his butt.

Was motogp all about racing? or about the "spirit" of racing these machines? There already are a lot of arguments saying WSBK/AMA are better alternatives to close racing and I fully agree. The only thing Motogp got so popular cause of Rossi's charisma and nothing else. Sure he's a proven legend, but his media personality kept the sport alive. What personality of his you say? Having catfights against his opponents. Sadly Stoner was willing to have a go way back in Jerez. Rossi was unable to respond w/ his performance.

If GP goes down the route of CRT only, with the rules as they are, then Ducati will be out of it.

They don't make a 4 cylinder bike which complies, and no one will want their chassis.

Funny how the 1199 has not been homologated for WSB. What price a change in the rules to allow Ducati to supply 1200cc twins?
