@ SwissJUG. Stoner is pretty acceptable in terms of courage.Laguna 2011. Oh,yes,I had to raise a Laguna page.2008 was then and sits on your face,2012 is now.
For what its worth, the clowns who figured Stoner can't handle pressure had to suck it up big time at PI 2009.One of the great spectacles of the 800 era.
Rerun it and appreciate it.
The past and Rossi supporters ? I bet money on him back in 2004...and won ! Same with Stoner 2007 and George 2010 and Stoner 2011.
Stoner,Lorenzo or Spies for 2012. Tip of the year.
Best and cheapest option for best return...#11.
Oh yes, almost forgot...Enjoy the racing and Tissot Timing.

grendlehop, the patent on the deesmodromic valve system expired a long time ago so any other manufacturer could use will never see the japanese use it for 2 reasons.1 they would feelits losing face, having to use a competitors technology, and 2 its very expensive to make as the tolerances are far tighter than any component on any japanese motorcycle in mass production today.that doesnt rule it out being used in racing though, but reason no 1 does.
CRT bikes will only lack big time in the electronics, there is very little to be discovered in cassis or engine technology anymore.the engineers all use the same programmes and punch in the same numbers ,which give them all the same results.thats why it shouldnt be a shock to see ducati struggling with something that varies from what everyone else does.
the top rider of this generation is by far stoner, and no matter what they all ride,he can make a bigger difference than any engine/chassis or electronic mods any of them can come up with.

Just want to say that I love some of the comments from LCtanner! You have to sometimes read stuff with your tongue stuck firmly in your cheek and don't take things so seriously! I am a Valentino fan and some of the remarks I read about him are downright insulting, but it's swings and roundabouts isn't it so just relax and keep calm! As long as people stay within the bounds of decency a little bit of fun being poked doesn't do any harm!

Think people are getting a little excitable about the CRTs. This really isn't a new scenario. In the mid 90's teams were running Roc and Harris chassis with "customer" 500cc engines. Ok so not production based engines but still a cheap option for teams to compete. Either way it's not really the way prototype racing should be going in my opinion, but then my names not Carmelo.................

4 Honda's (2 Factory), 4 Yamaha's (2 Factory), 4 Ducati's (2 Factory), that's only 6 bikes capable of consistantly running at the front. Let's hope the TV director shows more mid field racing, 'cos that's were the action is going be, with the CRT's try to beat satellite teams.

Got agree with the comments about the '90s 500's, I think the highest finish was 6th on a ROC. I think the early 2000's was the best attendance MotoGP has had in recent time with 25 bikes and satellite teams being able to compete at the front. Now it's just an advertising hoarding going round a circuit.... albeit very fast.

No number 58,damn,so I guess it really is true.No bad dream,it really did happen and we really did lose him. This year is going to be tough to take without him......but his memory will live on.So long Marco, things just aint gonna be the same.
