“I'm just a rider, and the same goes for Stoner, Pedrosa and Valentino [Rossi]” - Jorge Lorenzo.

I agree @King Kenny but Jorge like all riders wants to win & you can guarantee that if Honda or Ducati prove to be better bikes than the Yam this year that will be where he tries to be in 2013

It seems like Jorge has matured as a man these last couple of years. I used to think he was an irritating, arrogant little so and so. His reaction and humility at the time of Marco's death was very admirable and it takes a true gentleman of some honour and decency to have said what he did and make the effort to go to the funeral. At that time I raised my respect level for Jorge the man and now here he is talking realistically, respectfully and with some humility also. It is great to see and whilst I have always had the utmost respect for him as a rider, that is now complete as a man and I am very pleased about it.

As for the comment that he knows that he may never get his title back - what a load of hogwash. All of these top riders go in believing that they can and are capable of, winning that title and it would be a naive fool who thinks otherwise.

Yamaha WERE very competitive in 2010 and it DID come down to the rider. All this stuff about how hard Lorenzo was having to ride the Yamaha to keep up with 'Stoners Honda' really irritates me. What about how hard Stoner was clearly riding the Honda to stay ahead of Lorenzo's Yamaha? They were both riding at the limit and Yamaha would have taken their 4th consecutive title if not for Stoner. If Jorge hadn't hurt his finger the title would have gone down to the last round. If there's that little between them after 17 rounds and the Honda is so much better than the Yamaha, and Stoner is 'supernaturally talented' then I can only imagine what that makes Lorenzo!?

That said I like Jorge a lot more since he stopped trying to be Rossi. He seems like a nice chap nowadays.

HRC "Kudos Jorge, your very humble"

Have you even read his autobiographie titled "The new king of Moto GP"? What a joke, he is a good rider but far from humble. Plus the old king of Moto GP isn't dead yet!
