Large portion of sour grapes for the Australian at the Repsol table. Bet Danni is as unimpressed at Stoner's comments in the same way Moaner is unimpressed with Rossi.

Rossi was, in his time, an exceptional talent in three areas: self-publication, off-track conniving and on-track aggression. These attributes alone led him, when mounted on a well sorted superb machine, to his Moto GP wins.

But when faced with the talent of Lorenzo he had no option but to run away and hide behind the deficiencies of the Ducati.

Unfortunately for Rossi the ghost of Stoner is a constant reminder to Rossi of his lack of real talent in the one area that really makes a great Moto GP champion, ie riding ability.

Rossi won more than half his titles on FAR superior bikes. I've said it 100 times, if the Honda was THAT much better, it would've been a HRC 1,2,3 regularly and in the championship. I guarantee you, put Stoner on any bike of Rossi's and he will be WELL ahead of him!

When Stoner won 2007 title, there was a tyre advantage as well as Ducati being faster in a straight line made it impossible for Rossi to win. Just facts not excuses.

He wins again in 2011 but now Rossi is riding around at the back of the Pack.

Any other time they did have a close head to head Rossi came out on top. Stoner ending up looking stupid by falling off or running of the track.

I can understand why Stoner is so bitter.
He wants to beat Rossi at the front on similar packages to show off to the world his big Ego.

Once again Stoner tells it as it is and once again the yellow brigade get their knickers in a twist!
Rossis days of playing mind games are long gone.Stoner and for that matter,Lorenzo, are no longer remotely concerned about him. They will no longer take any cr*p off the guy as they have both beaten him convincingly to the last 2 championships. The game has moved on Vale my old son and you can no longer intimidate the young guns.

C'mon now Rossi.

How hypocritical is it for Rossi to try and belittle Stoner's title when he himself won titles on the NSR500 and RC211V which are 2 of the greatest bikes of all time? The NSR had won 6 title with Doohan and Criville before rossi even got his hands on it. Exactly how many titles did the 800cc Honda have when Stoner got it? Zero. So he should shut up.

Being a multiple world champion who has won on obviously superior kit before Rossi should have more class and keep his mouth shut. But yet again he shoots off at the mouth about whats happening in someone else's pit box. He comes off sounding a bit jealous. Casey has every right to defend himself and answer his critics - even if it is from a rival who is bitter.

I guess that Ducati built ten variations of the GP11, GP11.1 and GP12, blew a couple of extra engines on it, came with umptheen frame variations, new swingarms and whatnot and payed with the points they collected on their espresso packages, Mr. Rossi? Oh, and how much was your salary again Valentino? And then have the nerve to say Honda spent a fortune in 2011? Logical.
