"Rossi absent due to illness."

Least he wasnt alone!
I hear that the entire Ducati garage was feeling a bit sick after that test...

Perhaps it was all the humble pie they ate?
Or was it food poisoning from that dish of revenge that Stoner served up cold...

Its obvious Rossi and Stoner fans don't see eye to eye, but I don't think anyone can say that Rossi closing that gap to at least 0.5 instead of 1.5 would be a bad thing. I might not switch off watching races half way through for a start.

Ever since I've been into bike racing, back in 1986, if one is doing well, people say it's his bike, if not, the rider is no good. Doesn't seem to have changed much. I hope the gaps are smaller this year.

@Kickstand, and here's why - Ducati mechanics ,Valencia,2010:
Valentino's initial response was "how the f*k did Casey ride this piece of sh!t"!!!! we just laughed as we had initially thought Valentino was a better rider before testing had wound up.

Obviously, they laughed too much.

I guess Ducati might need some custard for that humble pie, will digest easier.

Thank you Marlboro, thank you mr. Maurizio Arivabene, money well spent.

Yeah thats right, just like the Ducati for 4 years before.

How lucky is Stoner! It just so happens that wherever he goes they happen to get the best bike!!

Who'da thought.
