comparing rossi speed with lorenzo/stoner over a race distance?

are you people serious, a race is 20+ laps not a single lap anything can happen over that period ,lots of permutations

fastest bike over a single lap doesnt neceaasrily mean fastest over race distance

and great job cal crutchlow superb performance

Rossi - Why so slow - Again?

Same as last year - seriously off the pace. Good thing for Val that Casey not riding today.

May get extremely embarrassing for Rossi when Casey gets on track.

so Vale has got within .7 on the opening day. while this at first glance looks good, remember that Casey went under 2 minutes at last time at sepang, so the times are all off at the moment. 5th is still nothing to shout about, as it would be 6th if casey had ridden (and you would have to imagine 7th if marco was still with us) so, position wise, nothing has changed at all. i just hope that Ducati can make a bike that Vale can ride. yes im a stoner fan, but its got kinda awkward for me now watching Vale struggle.. in the same way that i would feel awkward watching disabled porn...

Oh dear, CRTs looking very slow. Lets hope they can pick it up a bit. De Puniet's time from Valencia is more promising though, only 1s behind Pramac Ducati 2012 Valencia test time.

Its hard to get too serious about this yet. All of them are still getting the baseline settings sorted out. Tomorrow should be a bit more serious. Hats off to Bradl for being best of the rest, though I hope he doesn't find this MotoGP gig a tough deal just like Elias did. I think he'll do fine. Too bad a few of the factories weren't at Valencia to give some meaning to Depuniets times.

Anybody know if they are getting exactly the same tires at both tests?

everybody knows its the 1st day - except 90% of the comment board lol...
Nicky's recovering, Ben hasn't been on a bike in 2 months, rossi's got a entirely new bike, as does everybody else + it rained gezzz.... with these comments you would think its mid season lol... wait till the 3rd day - shyt for that matter, wait till Qatar.
