Lubak, you're probably a newbie but testing is about understanding the bike and the effect that changes make. At the end of the day riders will try to put the best settings together and run faster laps.

I suspect Ducati has a huge work load moving from their previous chasis design to the current version being tested. Plus we still don't know if this will be the final bike before the season opener.

The other manufacturers will for certain have an easier job. Ducati however made a smart move and once they find the sweet spot of the design may be able to return to the carbon fiber, stressed engine design once they understand the weight distribution, wheel loading, power curve and the area within the setup parameters that the riders like. Always remember Casey and the front wheel buckling in 2008 and Rossi last year which resulted in him losing confidence and having a record (for him) number of crashes in a season (includes practice sessions).
