I was at the tests today, the usual keyboard people at it. There were so many differences with the bike today. I think Honda has a big advantage with the electronics, the way they change down is unreal, at the end of the two straights they bang down the box and the revs almost stay the same, and the traction control is better then their rivals.

The Ducati looks like there is a different electronic package on the factory and non factory bike, but both traction control seems too harsh compared with Honda. Yamaha is somewhere in between. The CRT of Colin Edwards sounds like a road bike when changing down and traction control is no where near as good.

The easy way forward is to provide an F1 style controlled electronics package that can be adjusted within a set range.

Thanks Dev some intelligent and on the spot info rather than hearsay. The statements about the Honda seem to support what Honda themselves said and that $900K gearbox supposedly offering no advantage.

The real question here is how many REAL bike fans are here? Can't everyone just agree that every single rider out there is awesome. Every single one of them has more talent than anyone posting on this site. What they say is gospel to how they feel on the bike. End of. All I want to see is bikes going round corners crossed up and providing some decent entertainment. That is all.

A whole lot of folks on here are full of sh*t! If I were able to shake hands & get an autograph from any one of the top guys I'd be equally beside myself! It's a damn shame to read some of the garbage being spewed about "Rossi & Stoner this" & "Stoner & Rossi that"! This site is nothing more than a playground for little children to express their immaturity! The end of articles is starting to become where I call it good & the B.S. begins.

What a load of tosh DevDxb. It wasnt that long ago everyone was saying Ducati had the best electronics, but now Rossi is there its only better than a CRT machine? It used to sound silky smooth when Stoner was on it cos he had the TC dialed right back. That's why his honda sounds so smooth compared to the other Hondas too. Dani's bike sounded like it was misfiring on two cylinders at PI last year.

I see the gearbox and electronic excuse have come back. Dev must be a genius being able to pic who has the best elecs by listening to them. The only hole in your argument is that stoner uses less TC that anyone. Funny how when stoner was on the duke it had the best elec package and now it's the worst. Pfft

These days, it's obvious that all the bike are insanely fast & ultra- technological devices capable of way more than anything that should be street legal. It's time for a control unit governing traction control. The sport needs it since we already know which bike is the fastest, leaving us with the question of who the best rider is. It's a question with too many variables to ever know the answer, leading to all the sensess bickering. Moto 2 is a much more entertaining series to watch because it's a contest of man versus man.

Stavros, you clearly are mentally retared from your comment.

Honda's traction control is not turn back at all, you can hear it so clearly, it just acst in a differnt way to the others. i'm now wondering if you have lost that sense as well.

I could clearly see exiting the corner onto the start/finish straight that the throtle was being opened wide exiting the corner, no power slides, no highsides, just electronics limiting it all.

Bring back the 500's without gps electronics, you couldn't give it full beans half way round the corner and not be launched to the moon.

@ belly laugh
Do you feel stupid after your post by saying, Stoner off pace?
It's only testing, he isn't riding to win so let's be happy with the 2mins he did that way everyone else will continue to front up on a Sunday to race lol
