"Casey and presiozi nearly put Ducati out of business they ' be been a laughing stock and casey along with them."

Casey brought Ducati their first premier class title in the history of the company and won more races than ANYONE when he was on the Ducati. So how in the hell did he nearly put Ducati out of business? He wasn't making the salary of the guy there now nor were Ducati burning through money making chassis and updates for him. So please explain how Casey nearly put them out of business?

Yeah right, your posts fail on the champs since 07 argument.....

2001, Rossi, best bike and tyres, poor opposition
2002, the same, poor opposition
2003, the same, poor opposition
2004, equal bike with best tyres, poor opposition
2005, best bike, tyres, poor opposition
2006, poor bike, best tyres, average opposition, lots of new riders.
2007, good bike, best tyres, good opposition
2008, best bike, best tyres, good opposition
2009, best bike, no tyre advantage, good opposition
2010, as above
2011' average bike, great opposition!

So the 5 titles above not worthy too going by your comments as Rossi had advantages in all of them.... I think the 2 Rossi won in 08 and 09 were class.

Im no engineer but I wonder if the ducatis problems with acceleration have anything to do with the CF swingarm...?

Also, the fact hayden may test jerez early may play into ducatis a 'shakedown' of the new parts before next sepang...

Show me a Photo where Rossi elbow and shoulders are gliding 50mm above the apex, he still has to have control of the bike thought not crashing. Rossi developed the bike, give me a break, I didn't see him in there with the engineers on CAD.

I'm SOOOOO fed up with all these Stoner vs Rossi comments. There's a wealth of other talent on the grid and all these comments do nothing but demean them, and besides, anybody with half a brain knows that Rossi's far better than Stoner.

A year ago I said Ducati suffered from hubris, especially in the hands of "Whoa I did a great job" Guareschi.
Looks like they're finally beginning to learn. I see no nonsense about Guareschi running test laps to "fine tune" the bike before handing it off. FTR probably ignored him.
I wonder how long before the "understeer" and "lack of grip" result in an aluminum swingarm. Maybe Rossi can ride through the chatter but Hayden's going to want to move that rear wheel a bit, and he'll be complaining about a lack of "Feel".

This Rossi / Stoner nonsense should really be put to bed after last season. Rossi could not come close to what Stoner acheived with Ducati, not even close. Stoner has beaten Rossi overall since he came to moto gp, so can someone please show me an argument to actually show that Rossi is better than Stoner? Stoner has better stats, and acheived those impressive stats on the bike that Rossi cant do anything on. Its taken millions and a jap style bike for him to be able even think about getting close to the top guys. Rossi fans will say that this is due to him being a development god, but realists will know that its because he was not capable of matching the talent of Stoner. Rossi cannot suddenly wipe last year off his stats, regardless of how well he does this year with the new bike. The fact is he couldnt ride the one that Stoner could. Whose the better rider? Ask an outsider who doesnt know any of them from adam and show them the stats and run down of the last 5 years in moto gp and se
