This to me is great news I only hope it develops in to some wins. For me the only man that can beat stoner is stoner this is why Rossi trys to get in to peoples heads because when he sees he is at a disadvantage he uses everything in his power to beat them including mind games. I doubt stoner would take this approach Stoner tends to try and beat riders with sheer speed and talent on the bike and of course with his fist when they get in the way!A true champion shows through when he is clearly outguned Rossi has shown this over the years he is far from the best Rider but he is the best Racer I have seen! Role on to some closer racing!

To all the haters...

Once your idol has 9 WC titles to their name, you are more than welcome to insult the entertainer.

Until then, you may listen to hero whingeing and you can marvel at his drifting prowess but until he has a bit more silverware in his cabinet, feel free to STFU...

Mcalern - Rossi "Rides" and gives feedback to get the best out of the existing bike. That not "developing" its "tuning" ,,, or "adjusting". A bike (or car) is developed by engineers. You (and others) irresponsibly be-little the trained and skilled people who have earned that title and get paid to engineer.

Riders don't develop.. and neither do crew chiefs. If they could, they would have "developed" the Ducati into a winning bike by the second day of last year. Today, after countless versions of the Duc, , there is still none of this fantasy track-side "development". It's still @ 1 second off the winning pace.,, Proof once and for all for those capable of reason.

Sooooo Ducati have made ill handling bikes for the past couple of years. They bring in Rossi you goes through a gazillion chassis and updates last year and gets no where. Ducati outsources their chassis to FTR and they make a better bike. And now everyone is claiming how great Rossis is? Um, what about FTR? Even Rossi has already said he is just a rider. Briggs said on twitter the other day that they are just mechanics and the development isn't done by them. Burgess is a "race" engineer which menas he works on set up with what he is given from the factory - he doesn't design or develop anything. FTR has saved Ducati's ass and Rossi and crew get all the credit. Incredible.

"I'll place money on the fact if Rossi is close behind Stoner in races this year, the pressure will cause him to fall off, look at Motegi last year.

Wrong. It should say:

"look at Jerez last year"
