He can look forward to some battles with Cal Crutchlow, sure, maybe he can sneek the odd podium if any of the front runners crash out.

Good to hear him being positive again, looking forward to the first race because it will give us all a better idea of how things are going and i don't think he'd be saying this if he didn't believe it himself.
Love him or hate him, we need as many competitive riders as we can get.

Everything is possible. Probable is what he needs to factor in. A quickly improving Dovi,Cal and a little garnish from Bautista and Bradl.
Last year,by race he was talking about closing the gap to the 2nd group of Spies/Simmo/Dovi.
Well,podium early...Possible due to other's misfortune,yes. Probable. Probably not.
His chances of early podiums are half decent based on Sepang 1,provided he qualifies at the sharp end.
Lets see what Sepang 2 throws up.

On a serious note, Vale will have trouble with Spies and Pedrosa but his talent will not (hopefully) outweigh his ambition this time.

Judging by the looks on Valentino and Jeremy's faces they are happier bunnies than they were last year! Valentino isn't going to give anything away either is he so we wont know exactly what is up their sleeves until race day!!! Bring it on Vale!!!!!!
