@S77 - You said you wanted peoples reasons for not thinking Casey is guaranteed and that you didn't want it to turn into a Stoner VS Rossi debate. Fair enough. However, people have given many valid reasons i.e. Lorenzo is very competitive, the bikes have caught up with the Honda, injuries could play a part. However, instead of acknowledging these valid points you are saying that everyone is disagreeing with you because they are unemployed Rossi fans???? Way to contracdict yourself. Well done.

1999 Champ - Criville
2000 Champ - Roberts
2001 Champ - Rossi + 2002,3,4 and 5.
2006 Champ - Hayden
2007 Champ - Stoner
2008 Champ - Rossi + 2009
2010 Champ - Lorenzo
2011 Champ - Stoner

Porcupine. Youre correct that Rossi is the only one to have retained titles. Lets look at the stats.
Criville had a serious problem with black outs and had to retire. Roberts stayed with the luckless Rgv. Rossi inherited all from Hrc until he believed he could walk on water. Yamaha finally listened to Biaggi to the faults in the frame and they were sorted for Rossi to join them in 2004. Hayden was never going to get the support from Hrc with Pedrosa around. Stoner worked 2007 to his 1st Championship and no-one ever came close riding the Ducati. 2008+9 the Yam was sorted and won. Same in 2010. 2011 Stoner finally left Ducati for a decent ride.
Only Stoner and Lorenzo left for this years fight. It will be Rainey/Scwantz all over again.

Jorge is just regurgitating what he reads on the Sports Books. No real reason yet to believe the pecking order will change much for 2012. The funny thing is that on one site I saw the following odds.

Crutchlow Podium 5 to 6
Rossi win Race 6 to 4
CRT Podium 8 to 1
Crutchlow Pole 8 to 1
Crutchlow Win 10 to 1
CRT Win 33 to 1

Perhaps you should read the whole mini conversation again. Someone asked me if i didn't like people disagreeing i shouldnt post. I then explained how at the start i asked for reasons why he wont retain the title. So when there were 12 dislikes and no comments with opinions i reminded people. That's all.

As it stands, 70 something dislikes and probably less than half of the comments are from Rossi fans with their thoughts. 10 people actually agreed with a comment 'Rossi could beat Stoner on a bicycle .. if he wanted too'.

Just saying.

@S77 - I think it is you who should re-read your own comments. This is what you said...again contradicting your most previous comment "That just made it look like the unemployed Yellow fans came on crash.net to disagree with every to do with Stoner." ??????

You are starting to look a bit silly by contradicting yourself so much. You say you didn't want your poll to turn into a Rossi / Stoner debate, but you are the one to start the Rossi mud slinging?????

What do you have to say to people who think Lorenzo can beat Stoner (me being one)? What do you say to people who say Stoner could get injured? What do you say to people who say the Honda could suffer from fuel consumption? What do you say to people who think the CRT's have added an unknown variable?

Do you have any answers? I doubt it. You just look like someone who is claiming to be superior because you support the favourite team / rider and secretly enjoy the childish Rossi / Stoner conversations. Well done!
