What a great test for Danny, and KTM. Looks like we brits are going to have someone up the front to cheer.
His time was equal to the 125cc lap record, never thought these Moto3 bikes were going to be that fast, pity about the sound they make though.

Yes, Kent is impressing, although I think the Hondas don't show their full potential (these times are published by the teams...). It looks like master Ioda didn't make a fast bike. Does anyone know what engine do they use?

"never thought these Moto3 bikes were going to be that fast, pity about the sound they make though. "

Oh I dunno Brad... when you get 40 of them hitting the first corner, they will sound good!

Love that Danny has been inspired by JT in the past and is using his style of number.

Go Danny!

re: "His time was equal to the 125cc lap record, never thought these Moto3 bikes were going to be that fast".

not that there's much to 'em at these power levels, but 250 singles are pretty sorted kit. the md250's been running effectively against 125's for some time now.

re: "pity about the sound they make though."

while their "bleat" sounds even better mixed in with a chorus of 2-strokes, i think you'll be surprised at how good they sound. dare is say it may even overshadow the shrill of M2...? sonically, i think you'll find they've alot in common with MGP (again sonically). search youtube for "usgpru moriwaki md250 race" and "usgpru spec class". you'll see (and hear) how we've been doing it in the states.

2 stroke lovers are the hipsters of the motorcycle world... we all like them, but some of us have progressed with the times and realize there isnt much place for them in todays world... i actually like the thunderous bellow that 4 strokes put out

Kent looks like he is getting along well but someone needs to tell him to ditch #52

Twice the cc to achieve the same lap time......great progression that is.

Big fours sound great, 4 stroke singles sound like flatulent old men!
