Really hope this translates into similar form once the racing starts. Kent has impressed me right from his debut rides in 125s. He has a good attitude and lots of potential.

Problem with the British is that it all goes to their heads very quickly. It will be interesting to see how Kent handles the attention. MotoGP is desperate to get a Brit up the sharp end as the market is very lucrative.

But I dont see anything immpressive in his stats from the last two years. Not a single podium. Expect Maverick Vinales to dominate.

Problem is there's no sponsorship for Brits, you have to do it old school if you want to get anywhere, An old van and big overdraught! Good thing about that is when they get their chance they seize it.... Kent will do everything he can to get where he wants to be, which is alot more than you can say for some of the riders!

Look guys, to say he hasn't had a podium is harsh. For about half the season he was on the slower of the two bikes, which lets face it is very slow. The faster of the bikes was said to be good for about a 5th place. And when danny was given the bike this is about where he ran. He was riding on its absolute limit. And that is all he can be expected to do. He has proven he is a good rider, but truth be known, know one knows how fast he can go. If the last few days times are to be believed, then very fast! Could be his year :-)

Well done Danny,loved the day 2 photo,elbow shin and instep down on the track, knee slider no where near the deck.
Certainly didn't get the top bike for 50% of the races last year,probably 3-4 when Folger was injured.

@Swissroll t
Riders for us Brits to cheer on this year,and we have also a cracking field of Super bike riders to support.We are not going to get a champion this year in motogp but the future is looking promising.

If Maverick has close to the HP of Kent then forget it.

I stand by my view of the Brit sportsmen.

Lets not forget here that Rossi was hugely over weight when he rode 125 and it took Rossi only 10 races to achieve a podium, AUT in 1996.

Kent has none after 1 and a half seasons.

Your dreaming....

I cannot think of one single example of British Sportsmen who have let it go to their heads.

George Best ?

And to call Rossi overweight shows how much you really know. We all clearly remember the picture of him on the podium at Donnington dressed as Robin Hood.

"Hugely over weight" no, Rossi never was,

Hugely posting rubbish, that is you.......
