If Rossi ever wins one more championship, he must go down as the GOAT. Is he going to win one more championship??? Not if Stoner can help it. I'm sure he'll give it a good effort though.

Really hoping for an exciting season with 3 / 4 riders in contention towards the end. Safe money on Stoner. Decent bet on Lorenzo. Miracle money on Rossi.

Hornsey. Calm down there dear. This story is about Ducati. Ducatis number one rider is Rossi. Rossi will be racing Stoner. Stoner is the Moto GP champion. That is why Stoner and Rossi were mentioned in the same thread. No childish arguments. Just facts.

Maybe its over sensitive people like you who make these threads end up farcical. What was childish about my above post? I didn't use bad language in mine for a start.

There there now. Maybe just lie down for a bit

Ducati is heading in the right track,They got deluded by VR-JB's 80sec promises & relied solely on on VR's data for development & reach nowewe.All that millions of euros spent went down the drain.Now having declared that Satellite & factory boys will recieve equal preferance means ducati are listening to all 4 riders.Hence they could get data from 4 sources that is the best way to analyse every aspect of bike.BARBERA & ABBRAHAM have very good oppertunity this season.will be great to see how well VR would do with his team mates on level playing field,hes never faced that before.

@Speed Racer

Where is the evidence that Ducati relied soley on VRs data?
When have they declared that satellite riders will have equal performance? -They aren't even on the same bike!
What use is data from 4 sources when 2 are on a different bike?
This isn't a level playing field and it never will be, the factories will always favour their number one rider to an extent. It makes sense for them to tailor their bike for their best championship hope.
Barring injury satellite riders will never have any hope of finishing ahead of factory riders in the championship. That's one of the few areas where all CRT makes more sense than factory and satellite.

@ speed racer,
Rossi faced that with Honda and Yamaha. He helps the engineers with given them feedback as do the other riders in Motogp but Rossi has brought Honda and Yamaha a long way and I hope he does the same for Ducati. So far his track record for helping develop winning machines is evident but he holds a piece of the pie in that effort but the engineers are the ones that put whats on paper to action. That's just my take on it

That Aprilia CRT got Ducati spooked. Randy pulling within .03 of Barb's Ducati may well mean the ducs being embarassed and beaten by a Frankenstein Bike!!
