Wow, I genuinely believed Valentino would be up in at least the top 4. I know they are only test times and they are still playing around with Ducati, but it doesn't look good with Hayden and Crutchlow above him. When I heard it was wet, I actually though Vale could possibly be at the top. Is there a genuine reason why he has fallen further back since the first test?

@ DB8 - He was the fastest in the wet but that won't help him as the time being many seconds per lap slower won't bother the dry times. The track is affected by the downpour. Rossi and Hayden are busy evaluating different electronics. Fastest lap times at this point are irrelevant. Gathering data and testing corner entry and exit is wht it's all about. Or just going as fast as possible on every lap you ever do and hope you have been given the best bike that needs little development a la Stoner.

Leave the poor boy to his blind faith SpeedRacer. He truly thinks Rossi is the fastest guy out there and that VR's divine bike development powers will easily make the Ducati faster than the Honda (since it has so much more headroom for improvement, didn't you know?). Reality is an inconvenient intrusion best ignored.

Wow wow hold it,which test time are you talking about? How did you conclude him being fastest on the wet,I dont think there is a seperate timing screen for wet session, even then being fastest with only hayden & bataini on track is no big deal, isnt it?

Here is what we have to look foward to tomorrow if the weather is good..."Stoner said high track temp was a issue today but without rain he could have gone 1 to 1.5s faster".

Lets hope the others say that as well.
