Kudos to Honda for putting the safety of their riders first. Last thing anybody would want is for an engine to seize up at over 300kph. Not leaving them much time to find a solution to the 'chatter' problem however.

Underlines the shear stupidity of having a limited number of testing days per year, especially when weather is a factor. No wonder there are so many injuries when riders are forced to race on bikes that arent fully sorted.

I guess the bloke at Honda who zip-tied the extra 4kg to the engine crankshafts will be getting shipped off the the lawnmower division?

@ thegreatnumberseven, Yep I was only joking.

Odd development though, given the hundreds of dyno hours and 10's of track hours these engines would have on them by now.

I hope it's nothing critical, I'd hate to see any riders get hurt from a locked up gearbox or seized engine..
