“We thought we could have gone faster this afternoon, but we'd finished everything we needed to do so there was no need to risk anything.” kind of ominous, that he is that quick again, without pushing or worrying about a fast time...
unbeliveable :)

General concensus is chatter from all three factory teams. That gives something for Bridgestone to work on prior to the colder Jerez test.
The ballast of 4kg. My JB 80 second fix : Add more lead to the paint. Even distribution of the excess baggage without changing the chassis that was designed for the 2012 job.
Good going Casey.

A little chatter will not phase Casey too badly. We all know he is more than capable of riding around a problem if he has to.If Honda do manage to relieve the problem however,we can expect Casey to turn up the heat a little more.Very ominous.Honda must be pretty happy with his efforts this week, and those of Dani.Plenty of data to work with.

That man Stone knows nothing, he needs to tell Honda he wants the chassis from the year 2047 bike, and if that doesn't work he needs to get the chassis from that new push bike he bought for his daughters first birthday and if that don't fix it not to worry, them guys over at Ducati will fix it in 80 seconds flat because the real proiblem is he's not trying hard enough.

Casey Stoner is not an Alien - He is a God!

“We'll try and improve the chatter, but if we can't we're still competitive”

This is the attitude of winners. Stoner has chatter? He does not care, rides around it. Lorenzo's bike lacks horsepower? He does not care. pushes that much harder out of corners to make up for lack of top end.

If it was rossi, all we would hear is how the team needs to "do more" and build new parts to improve the bike.

Often bike racing is not about the bike, but the rider. Rossi and Ducati have already lost the season before a single race has taken place.
