wow...just wow....this guy is an ABSOLUTE FREAK!

nearly a full tank, blazing heat and yet the fastest lap by quite a bit too!!! AMAZING

and to think the Repsol Hondas are not at the peak yet with the nasty chatter still there,, when that gets sorted it will truly be bye bye yamaha and ducati!!!

Go Stoner and Dani!!! :)

I do hope that Stoner is stretching the truth a little about the conditions in which he set his fast laps, otherwise he is probably going to have a pretty 'easy' time of it in 2012. He was always blisteringly fast and now he is on a decent incarnation of a Honda, hope ssomeone else is up to the task of making the 2012 season intersting

Wasthatit.Stoner is without doubt the best rider on the planet at the moment but i think he will have his hands full with Pedrosa and Lorenzo. It will be no cake walk in my opinion. And if you were to ask Stoner himself he would admit as much.

@ pauly....That is because they were still abit worried about Dani's problem from the first day and thought it would be better to just keep it to 4 lap runs.
As Casey said that is enough for him anyway to evaluate what he has.

I think the most ominous comment from Stoner is about the tyres. 25-30 laps and they are still ok?!!
The very opposite of what others are saying (JL99, CC35 for eg.), expecting lots of wear and sliding before race end.
I'm sure if they do go off like tyres of old that Stoner can manage comfortably.
This must deal a blow to the confidence of his challengers.

Casey me boy, don't take to much notice of the chatter, from what I have been told it is just Rossi muttering under his breath every time some one goes past him

@@@@ 2013 Rossi riding for a nominal fee.

If Rossi really wants a ride he can go anywhere, just by waving his annual salary, and then all seats would be available except Stoner s.

He can afford to do that, if he think he has something to prove, which i think he has.

@ i know i am off topic, but Rossi is always a topic with readers.
