MotoGP » Ducati 'working non-stop in all areas'

“We have three different groups of designers - engine, chassis and electronics - all are working non-stop, so for sure we will continuously supply new parts in all these areas” - Filippo Preziosi.

"But as of Thursday, Preziosi explained that updates for the 'main points' are unlikely before May. "

MAY?? Are you shi**in' me?? WTF!!! With Stoner and George being so strong (and major improvements from other riders), May is far too late. Unfortunately for Vale his season is over before its even started. :-(

Maybe preziosi isn't the man for the job anymore. Perhaps some new people with fresh ideas and different way of approaching things would be better placed to take the project forward.
If the carbon frameless bike with c.f. swingarm was such a good design every other manufacturer would be going down that route, he eventually gave in and went to traditional frame and maybe should go back to basics with other things also, appears to work for everybody else.

MARLBORO wil be very pleased with the results Ducati have all those years.
and specialy the last year and this year.
A proud sponser who loves to fail.
if marboro would sell sigarets as ducati gets results they wont sell nothing.!
What must hayden think after all those years of nothing.
and what must go through rossi's head. 9 people infront of him and improving.
No podium for them. or it must be wet.

@ Lazy Feckers

hahaha funny man! I suppose its all down to how much you and your team want to win a championship. Ducati have known since early LAST YEAR that the bike was a canal barge on wheels and even convinced us that they were scrapping the 2011 championship to develop the bike throughout the season for 2012. So here is 2012.... And they are still in the same boat (or barge). They've literally had 12 months to get this years bike to a point where it can be competitive with the Japs and Preziosi is talking May before new parts are ready. Not good enough Preziosi. Im sure its not that simple but nevertheless that bike should be far more competitve than it is

why didn't Ducati bring half a dozen different frames for the riders to test like Honda did last year to sort out their handling problems?
Ok it'll cost a bit but surly it's better than having a 20 million euro rider putting around in 10th place
