For the love of god, it's just 4kg not 10kg!! It's like carrying an extra backpack on the bike. If these bikes are only punching out 50bhp yes 4kg is significant, but most of them are punching out 240+ horses. That's barely 20gm per HP difference.

Why don't honda & yamaha follow althea ducati's lead and add a starter motor to make up the weight? At least then stoner will have no need to moan about the marshalls not pushing his bike for him.

Stop complaining... everyone is on tue same boat! They are both still miles ahead of Ducati and the extra ballast doesn't give anyone an advantage because they all have the same ballast. I'm glad they have a new minimum weight ballast because it'll suit the bigger riders as the smaller ones had such an advantage. In theory it should help Ducati more because their riders are bigger but the bike isn't near the other two!

tire s and fuel consumption. also, could you race with a backpack?lol just being silly but obviously more weight still doesn't help rossi because it would need to be on the smaller riders and not him as well to even things up. that makes him harder on his tires and fuel consumption as well. everyone is not in the same boat rossi fan, because the other two had complete bikes per the rulebook going into sepang I already at the standard and if ducati are behind thats their own fault. yamaha are behind honda do they get any special provisions in the rulles for that?

The minimum weight limit was actually increased to help the CRT teams and not Ducati and Rossi as you blind haters want to believe

Dorna want the CRT bikes as close as possible to the Factory bikes so the project actually has a chance of working!!!
