Florence to Mugello is about 1 hour by car. You'd need to rent. ALso you need to leave like at 6 in the morning race day to have any chance of a decent spot and to beat the massive traffic jams. Coming out is every bit as mental. Camping is mental.. no chance to sleep much.

Mugello is up a country road in the back ass of nowhere, but it's a lovely setting. Look for Scarperia and Borgo san Lorenzo on google maps. the track is right beside Scarperia
