Probably the color scheme won't change much from last season -- but that's a good thing. Although it would be cool that both bikes kept the simbols of their respective riders --the x-fuera for Lorenzo and Spies's star-- they've showed in the tests so far. I also would like to see Lorenzo's red and Spies's aqua blue incorporated in the fairings and not only their leathers.

I think they should change the look drastically. David Emmett had a good point last season pointing out they looked too similar to the Fiat livery--so much so that casual fans still associated them with Fiat--resulting in somewhat "free" advertising for Fiat.

I think they should to make the bikes silver with blue trim and the bottom part of the fairing (oil trap) orange with Eneos sponsership.

But the thing is that the bikes were blue because that's Yamaha's color, not Fiat's. It's like if there was a 7Up Kawasaki team: even if Kawasaki no longer had 7Up as sponsor, they bikes should still be green because that's Kawasaki's color.

Yes, we know this. It's not the blue that's a problem. It's the livery and the way it was laid out that was too similar to Fiat. They could have still used blue but made the livery look nothing like the Fiat one--or they could have run the red and white livery all season.

Super excited... I think they should keep the red and the cyan stripes featured in the sepang bikes with the rider's respective symbols.. They should keep it more fresh ulike last years std livery..
