As a huge fan of all things motorcycle racing, being a club racer myself, I hate to admit to falling asleep through the last 2 seasons MotoGP, seriously, Moto2 keeps me buzzing, edge of the seat stuff. Formula 1 used to do this to me, you know, watch the start, have a nap ! then catch the last 5 laps.
I hear a lot about the engineering pinnacle crap on here, thats where F1 got to ( Became Boring ) and has pulled back some, the result now being closer racing, theres something to be learned there i think

@ LC Tanner......"Irrespective of who you follow or support, motogp is an awesome spectacle. Spies Lorenzo Stoner Pedrosa Rossi Crutchlow... they all put there lives on the line for our entertainment. You cant ask for anymore than that. "

I am with you on that one.....Until the CRT's are up to the same speed as Stoner and crew then leave it just as it is. Because when you have a runaway rider on a CRT at a certain track it will not be as spectacular as watching Stoner at max speed.

I'd like so see the bikes stay as cutting edge prototypes but no upgrades through out the season. Whatever you start the season with that's what you finish with. That would have to save an enormous amount of money. Also, satellite bikes would be on par with the factory machines and not fall behind as the season wears on.

Also, I'd like the electronics to stay but I would get rid of the GPS side of things. Doesn't play any part in street bike use. Also, I think a control ECU would help in keeping the racing closer and cheaper.

lol, saying top 10 riders in the world are in motogp is ridiculous, what a poll... Only retards can say Biaggi is not in top 10, he's probably in the top 5 with Stoner, Rossi, Lorenzo, Spies, and Melandri and Checa are also in the top 10.

MGP & CRT a big mess.

MGP should be,
No electronics, NONE.
Minimum weight.
Cap on production costs.
Max fuel 25 liters.

WSBK should be comprised of bikes STRAIGHT off the showroom floor, ZERO modifications allowed.

re: "that's exactly the direction they are headed, ALL CRT's on the grid, they would have done it this year but, they needed more time to gain more control, b/c the manufactures are still controlling motogp"

can't control the "uncontrollable". the engines are the intellectual property of the manufacturers. that means NO amount of time spent will wrestle away control. observe the lack of suzuki's GSXR engine...? the lack of yamaha's patented Crossplane...? and the lack of Blade power by anybody but Gresini...? this, expressly because those manufacturers DON'T want their engines to be used.

I really wish people would quit telling the lie of how great and successful Moto 2 is. It is a side show at a Moto GP event that in no way could make it on its own.The bikes do not inspire the crowd to run to the fences when on track, and if you visit racing forums, there is virtually zero interest in talking about them. Compare that to the GP conversation on the same forum. You are kidding yourselves if thats what you think you want as the pinnacle of motorcycle racing.

re: "Winning on an inferior bike is few and far between. Championship-wise you can only point out Schwantz and Roberts Jr in the last 30 or 40 years who won a title on what wasn't anything close to the best bike. Rider skill matters but so does the bike."

also, everybody do yourselves a favor and stop referencing what happened in the 70's, and 80's, and 90's as a predictor of what's to come...!? those era's ain't got "dikk" to do with complex 21st century economics. gas doesn't cost a nickel and post no longer costs a dime.
